World Championship in St. Moritz

My second World Championships! 6th place in singles!

Last week, the World Championships took place in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Another dream destination, only 1.5 hours from Livigno. The trip was therefore very easy and allowed our bodies to recover. The season was long, and the body is starting to run out of energy.

An unusual physical track with a very steep start that softens towards the end. Speed control was a very important factor and the competition was decided at that level. I felt very good in my boots and qualified in 5th position with room for improvement. Unfortunately, a mistake on the second jump cost me a place on the podium. I finished in 6th position.

The World Championships is a major event in mogul skiing. You can definitely feel the pressure.. This is another good practice for the Olympic Games, and it's something I plan to work on with my coaches and sports psychologist to be ready to perform under pressure when the time comes.
