ABOUT

Julien comes from a skiing family. His grandfather still skis to this day and his father made the national team before him. It's in his blood to be a skier. The passion that runs through his veins is what pushes him to train day after day, run after runs.

Julien grew up in Quebec and joined the freestyle ski team at Mont Ste-Anne at the age of 5. Passion, work and perseverance will guide his selection within the Freestyle Canada team.

His focus is unquestionably centered on his performance on the snow but aware of the importance of what happens next, despite the challenge of managing sport and studies at the same time, Julien is pursuing his studies at Laval University and aspires to become a mining engineer at the end of his academic background and his skiing career

The ultimate goal for Julien is to become the best skier he can be. He keeps going up the world's rankings every year with the dream of representing Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Livigno.

  • 3x World cup medalist

On his first year on the WC Circuit, Julien grabbed his first podium in Italy. In the 2024-2025 season, he managed to do it again twice. One at home and another in China.

  • 2022 Overall NorAm Champion

Julien took the first overall position in the North American ranking, an 8-start circuit. Of these eight starts, Julien has been on the podium 6 times. Winning the NorAm circuit is the ticket to the full World Cup season.

  • D.E.C (Natural Sciences, Engineering) - Collège Mérici

4 years of college studies allowed Julien to join the Mining Engineering program at Laval University.
