Japan, a Dream Trip

Japan was truly a special place for me. The culture, the food, the people… everything left a mark. Skiing allows me to discover incredible places, and Japan is without a doubt one of the most memorable. I feel immense gratitude for everything this sport brings into my life.
It wasn’t my best performance of the season. A very challenging course, nicknamed by the athletes “Highway to Hell.” I had some strong runs, but I lacked consistency. Mistakes at key moments in the competition left me in 10th place in singles and 7th in dual moguls.
The final World Cup event of the season in Azerbaijan was ultimately cancelled. I would have liked to finish on a high note, but getting home a bit earlier came at the right time. The fatigue had built up, and I was starting to feel the need to be back home. I finished the season ranked 3rd overall—an achievement I’m very proud of and one that motivates me greatly moving forward.
Next stop: the Canadian Senior Championships in Saint-Sauveur this week!
