Olympic Winter Games 2026

It was in the Italian Alps that the moguls events took place—more specifically in Livigno, where all freestyle athletes came together to live the Olympic dream. Some were chasing medals, others were seeking to push their limits. One thing is certain: behind every athlete is an incredible story that led them to the most prestigious sporting event in the world.
As for me, my goal was simple: to enjoy every moment and stay present. Mission accomplished—but I’m not entirely satisfied with the outcome.
Our stay began with three days of training. I had the best training of my career. I felt great on my skis, and I had one thing in mind: to perform. Qualifications went beyond my expectations, and I finished in 2nd place. The day came to an end, but the most important part was still ahead, two days later.
The Olympic format is different from what we’re used to. The moguls events are spread over eight days. There’s a lot of waiting. You have to stay patient. The goal remains the same, and I tried to make the most of my time in the Olympic Village while staying focused on my competition.
On finals day, I felt confident. Despite a few mistakes midway down the course, I finished 6th. In our discipline, only one run counts. The level is extremely high, and everything comes down to very fine margins. I had a shot at the podium, yes—but small mistakes aren’t forgiven. Everything has to be perfect. The other competitors were simply better than me that day.
I had a second chance in dual moguls. But once again, everything happens so fast in this event. A small collision in the final against Japan’s Takuya Shimakawa threw me off balance, and I took a mogul straight to the shoulder. It was sore, but nothing serious.
Overall, I’m not completely satisfied with my Olympic Games. But I’m extremely proud, and I leave with my head held high. I experienced so many incredible moments—memories I’ll carry with me forever. I’ve grown from this experience, and I come out of it more motivated than ever.
A huge thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and especially my sponsors. Thank you for allowing me to chase my dreams—I hope I was able to make you feel something along the way.
