A unique experience in China! Podium duels!
A first time in China for me. China is different... I was expecting it, but it's not like anada. It's challenging to adjust in such a short time. With food poisoning at home a few weeks earlier in the season, a buffet of cockroaches and questionable seafood isn't very inviting. I was careful and stuck to ramens that I always bring to competitions in case of emergencies.
The singles went very well. It was a very flat course but still had its challenges. I finished 5th in singles and was ready for the duals. After tasting the podium in Val-Saint-Côme, I quickly realized that I had my place with the best. My confidence for the duals day proved very useful and I grabbed my place on the 3rd step of the podium.
